About Michael Stank

Currently a fourth year student here at Penn College I am enrolled in the Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Engineering. I have been around HVAC for four summers now, the first I worked for a residential company doing all new construction. The past three summers I've been with Controls Service and Engineering Co. Doing commercial work as a service tech and install tech. To this day I've done a couple ofservice calls on my own and fortunately I was able to diagnose the problem before fixing the problem. I have also been on about a dozen install jobs including a RTU install as well as an ERV system. I play lacrosse here at Penn College as a midfielder(can go on both the offense and defensive side of field). This is my fourth year playing here at Penn College and I'm currently a starter. I am one of the older guys on the team with a large amount of them being underclassmen. I'm asked to step up and lead by example. I’m currently on leadership council of the team working together with the other members. We meet once a week to talk about how we can make the team better as a whole. I'll be honest it isn't easy being a student athlete with the workload that is put on my body physically and mentally but I manage to make it through. You might be asking why do it? I like the challenge of managing my time wisely for school work outside of class and practice.
