About Michael Steele

While in college, studying urban planning, I fell in love with the creative industry. I know this term is extremely broad, but I really embrace much of what it includes. Early on, I was able to see the benefits of using technology to better understand our world. And how we can use computers as a tool to make life better. My goal as a professional is to take design and showcase it in a creative way, helping others comprehend our world better. Whether it be through a simple still image, animation, motion graphics or augmented reality, merging traditional architecture, building, planning and other design with advanced tools is a passion that hope to share with as many people as possible. Working for over 7 years in the creative industry on a variety of projects in multiple settings has given me a unique viewpoint and understanding of the profession. I've been lucky enough to work with large firms on massive projects, small firms on small projects and even with individuals, helping them better visualize the existing and future world. With 801 creative, I hope to take all this past experience and build a company that highlights the best of my past experiences, and delivers the best possible product to any and all clients. Although much of my experience has been in the AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) industry, I truly hope to expand into all industries, because I know, the talents I have, and the services 801 creative offers and will offer, can improve our earth.
