About Michael Svendsen

All my past experiences have served as the foundation for Trade Technology. This is the mother company of all the marketplaces we have developed, designed, operated, and serviced across various industries. Our platform together with our skilled team, form what we refer to as a full-service marketplace, offering comprehensive assistance to those in need of a marketplace solution. Whether it is for an industry you have special insights into, as a sales tool for a supplier, or as a commerce tool uniting suppliers, sellers, and administrators on a single platform and letting them do business. In the first 30 years of my career, I honed my skills in business acumen at Salling Group. As a purchasing director, I gained extensive industry knowledge and valuable experience in project management and leadership. These qualities and an entrepreneurial drive led me to shift my focus toward online B2B commerce. This pursuit resulted in @Spotmarket, an online marketplace for spot, bulk, and seasonal products for the retail sector since then acquired by Coop. After managing and developing Spotmarket for some time, it became evident that what we had created could be useful on a much larger scale beyond a single marketplace.
