About Michael T Merrill

In 1991 I started working in construction. After becoming a foreman, Site Superintendent & Project Manager I started my own Building & Development Company focusing on Custom Homes, Renovation Work, Subdivision Projects & commercial jobs. I built over 200 homes & eventually got into land and Real Estate projects. Through my experiences I had gained a unique perspective on many inefficiencies in various processes on construction projects. With another General Contractor & two Software Engineers I helped start a Software Company that would focus on mobile time & attendance & field data collection on Mobile Phones, PDA’s & Laptops. In 2003 we started AboutTime Technologies out of Payson, UT. Since then we have grown our client base to Thousands of customers working in all 50 states, all provinces of Canada, & internationally. Our product runs natively on Apple, Android, BlackBerry, & Windows devices & includes things as GPS location tracking & Finger Print Log-In. We integrate our solutions with over 100 different Accounting and Payroll Systems. We automate the process of gathering payroll, job progress & production completion & other project management data that ultimately feeds into Payroll, Accounting, Billing, & Estimating Software systems. As a Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer at AboutTime, I opened our first office & helped put the initial pieces in motion to get our business off of the ground & thriving. I have acted in various roles including managing Sales, Channel Partnerships & Business Development. Throughout my career I have managed many people & teams. I have excelled in each position & focused primarily on increasing production, process improvement, & ultimate efficiency of operations. We have continued to surpass all previous sales & revenue numbers for 6 years straight despite the varying economy climate. We are currently expanding our operations, hiring new team members to continue to grow and expand our market presence!
