- https://mtabb.mykajabi.com/sag-aftra-actor Michael Tabb is a decade-long current and active member of the Writers Guild of America, West (the Hollywood film and television screenwriters union). He has developed projects for Universal Studios, Disney Feature Animation, Paradox Studios, Intrepid Pictures, The Canton Company at Warner Brothers, Producers Paul Schiff, Sean Daniel, Lawrence Bender, adapting and writing for comic book icon Stan Lee, Director Mike Newell and Dustin Hoffman to name a few. He won the New Mexico International Film Festival screenplay contest for his original script A MISFITS' CHRISTMAS, a project currently seeking financing. Michael originated a monthly column about his writing POV entitled “Script Notes,” picked up by Script Magazine and expanded into a book available at https://amzn.to/2HOMVFg. As a way of giving back, Michael has lectured and served on panels about the entertainment writing industry for institutions, including: the Writers Guild of America, west, Comic-Con International in San Diego, Comikaze, Screenwriters World Conference, UCLA, USC, NYU, Florida State University, Columbia College, and Full Sail University. His education includes USC undergrad, a B.F.A. from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and graduated the Post-Grad UCLA School of Film and Television's Professionals Program in Screenwriting. Michael did the final rewrite of a thriller which landed its star and was released by Sony, making the top twenty list of highest grossing indie renters of its year as well as writing franchise remakes and sequels for Universal Studios. Michael served as Supervising Producer on several productions for the original-content, online-network served as Strike.TV’s co-founder and Head of Submissions.
