As an Engineering Director with the BC Ministry of Transportation, I lead a multidisciplinary team of highway design engineers, water resource specialists, technologists, and surveyors across offices throughout the province. I bring a digital-first mindset and a strong focus on sustainable infrastructure, team development, and modern service delivery in the public sector. Since pivoting to the Ministry in 2020, I’ve worked in highway operations, strategic planning, and project management—including the Fraser Valley Highway Improvement Program. My background spans emergency engineering and response, local government, disaster recovery, asset management, and multi-modal infrastructure design. In 2018, I was recognized by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities as one of Canada’s Top Municipal Innovators. I’m a Professional Engineer and certified Project Manager with international experience across highway, municipal, and urban land development projects. Today, my work includes modernizing highway safety using machine learning, integrating climate and wildfire data into transportation planning, and using tools like Power Automate, and Streamlit Apps to improve project delivery, data analysis and communication.
