About Michael Tollerton

Voted 30 under 30 by the Southwest Region Business Observer in 2017, Michael is a self-described “out-of-shape” Division I tennis player and aspiring “Tiger” mom. At a very young age, Michael learned two important lessons that she has carried throughout her life: the value of servant leadership and the value of serving in the military. Determined to join the military, she was selected to play at the United States Military Academy. After graduating from West Point in 2011, Michael served six years in the Army, earning the rank of Captain in the Field Artillery. Honorably Discharged in 2017, she went on to pursue her Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Business Analytics from Florida State University in 2022. With more than 10 years of leadership experience, her career spans several industries, including military, manufacturing and insurance. Her passionate dedication as a servant leader and her desire to inspire the next generation led her to join Representative Vern Buchanan’s Military Academy Selection Committee in 2022 and Sarasota Military Academy’s Board of Directors in 2023. Today, she works with FCCI Insurance Group as a Corporate Risk Control Operations, supporting six regions to provide risk management to agency partners and policyholders. She spends her free time adventuring with her husband of six years, Elvis, and their daughter Evelyn.
