Full-Stack Software Engineer with managerial background. Skilled at problem-solving and project management. At previous organization, initiated and developed three new regional branches, doubled client acquisition goals, and cut in half the amount of production time required for the organization’s services. Reputation for streamlining and optimizing production for maximum results- My passion is for making cutting-edge, user-friendly, relevant web applications that solve real-world problems and improve the lives of others. I am comfortable with front-end and back-end development, utilizing technologies such as Python, React.JS, JavaScript, MongoDB, MySQL, and more. I am especially excited about single-page applications and responsive web design. My work ethic is centered on taking initiative, demonstrating thoroughness, taking total ownership of projects, and being a cheerful team player. Personal integrity and reliability are paramount. I have an infectious appreciation for all things related to software engineering, from designing features, to writing easily understandable code, to doing above-and-beyond styling with CSS, to polishing bugs and thinking through edge cases so that an app can just "work." Outside of software engineering, I have significant experience in project management. My previous role was as a regional director for a non-profit called Decision Point. In this role, I oversaw a team of 50+ volunteers and staff, training students each year at roughly 20-40 public school campuses across southern California. I wrote a significant portion of our national training curriculum (used at over 100 campuses) and was a regular conference speaker.
