About Michael Trakshinsky

Michael is a Partner with PwC Canada providing assurance services to large multinational public companies including SEC registrants, Canadian publicly traded companies, as well as multinational and domestic private companies in the Energy, Utilities & Mining industry. He's assisted clients through complex transactions that include business combinations and divestitures, debt restructurings, operations in emerging markets, implementation of new standards, and GAAP transitions. Michael brings experience in financial reporting under IFRS and US GAAP, SOX, SEC filings and public offerings, understanding of complex ERP's and global operating structures to provide valuable insights to help his clients achieve their goals. Michael joined PwC's assurance practice in Kiev, Ukraine in 2007 and moved to Calgary, Canada in 2010. He is a qualified CPA, CA in Canada and is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK). He has earned a Masters in International Management from Wisconsin International University.
