About Michael Vanderburgh

I am a recent graduate (March 2023) of Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in Programming and Game Development. I also have a BS in Business Administration. I have spent the past 5-10 years working in the medical industry but have decided to pursue my passion of videogames and am looking for my start in the industry. During my school program I began using Unreal Engine (Blueprints and C++) and continue to practice and develop my skills with that engine because I've really enjoyed my time using it. I've also dabbled a little bit with Unity before I went back to school. I am particularly interested in role-playing games, casual/wholesome games, and retro/nostalgic games - but am eager to gain experience across all areas and genres of gaming. Diversity and inclusion in the gaming industry is a topic that I feel particularly strongly about and I would love to make games that show people they don't need to be the stereotypical knight in order to slay the dragon.
