About Michael Varjan

My name is Michael Varjan and I am a Criminal Justice major at Lincoln College. I have a strong passion for the criminal justice field and am confident that an Internship with the Illinois State Police will help me better find my future career path. I have always wanted to be a law enforcement officer, and careers in the field of criminal justice such as Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Agency, or as a detective has always sparked my interest. I wish to find a career that allows me to help others and make a positive impact in their lives. I have seen many members of the criminal justice community positively affect society and want to be a part of a team that helps and protects the members of our community. In May of 2020 I will be graduating Lincoln College with my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. I am currently looking to begin an internship in the criminal justice field in the spring semester of 2020. I am dedicated student and employee, a quick learner, and dependent individual and am trying to learn as much as I can about law enforcement. My goal is to positively change the lives of as many people as possible, while at the same time bringing justice to the criminals that negatively affect society. I believe I am a great candidate for an internship with the Illinois State Police because I am very eager to protect and serve my community.
