About Michael Vincent

At EnergyCo, I have contributed to strengthening the organization’s profile by leading comprehensive communications strategies across nine critical multi-billion dollar state critical projects. EnergyCo is coordinating the infrastructure for 5 renewable energy zones and critical transmission lines to ensure NSW has power when three of the four coal-fired power stations close by 2035. By fostering collaboration and managing a small, high-performing team, we have delivered impactful messaging, branding, and media content across digital and traditional platforms. My role includes supporting senior leadership and the executive team in driving engagement and enhancing organizational reputation through tailored communication initiatives. It included significant stakeholder engagement within government across Premiers and other departments as well as energy businesses - generators and transmission and community organisations. Previously, I held pivotal roles within government, including Communications Director for a state minister, where I shaped public messaging and supported key initiatives. My expertise spans media relations, campaign strategies, and proactive communications, with a commitment to delivering thoughtful and results-driven outcomes. Recently I undertook a mini-MBA in marketing to acquire and reinforce the relevant skills in the paid media landscape that I already have in the earned media realm. Trust and communication are critical. Polite persistence pays off.
