About Michael Vogt

I provide strategic planning for organizations, test data-driven hypotheses, and generate funding for projects. These things give me energy. Currently on staff at UMOS, inc. My main contributions are applying for and administering grants making up $77 million in annual revenue, managing the social media and website teams, as well as providing administrative support to program directors via policy and procedure development as well as performance tracking and data evaluation. My most recent project was serving the Blackfeet Nation where I provided program development, communications and outreach, as well as grant writing and reporting to support their regenerative grazing and carbon sequestration program, value added agriculture plan, and natural resource protection. I am a trained Scientist with a specialty in animal sleep, cognition, and learning, and have researched the effects of climate change on Northern California Coastal Grasslands.
