About Michael Waldron

I am currently working in retail banking with AIB as a Sales and Advisory Assistant. This role requires a high level of customer service, knowledge of our products, helping customers to reach their goals which in turn helps achieve my team’s targets. I am very comfortable approaching and talking to customers, this in turn makes them comfortable discussing their financial needs and queries with me. Before my time in AIB I worked as a chef in a fast paced kitchen in a restaurant called Ruby's. This role was in a high stress environment which involved being highly organised and skilled. It was a role that was very stressful yet rewarding and I feel this different industry experience has benefited me and has broadened my skill set. I have learned life skills such as strong communication, people management, organisation, timekeeping, elements of customer service and confidence.
