Mr. Waldrup specializes in criminal defense with a specific focus on marijuana laws including possession, driving under the influence and trafficking. He has had extensive training and experience with DUI cases and trials, major felonies, marijuana cases and general misdemeanors. Selected in competition as a member of the University of Idaho Trial Team. After Law School he served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for DUI cases and then practiced federal law and gained experience negotiating on behalf of Indian Tribes with State and Federal Agencies. Michael Waldrup started his own practice in 2004. Michael Waldrup received certifications from the National Advocacy Center in numerous trial training seminars. He has been the lead attorney in dozens of jury trials and his trial skills are unparralleled. He also has training in negotiation and litigation. During undergraduate work in California in the 1980's he had experience with researching and assisting in the then developing medical marijuana field. He has since successfully defended hundreds of pot cases in Idaho including possession, delivery and trafficking.
