About Michael Wareing

I have an incredible passion, drive, and desire to learn and succeed in everything I do. I never give up and I thrive under pressure. I've grown up in the industrial automation world and started working in the industry when i was 12, I built my first control panel when I was 13 and started HMI programming when I was 15, and I've never stopped. I love the challenge of trouble shooting complex problems and I want to continue to grow with more responsibility and challenging problems. My passion currently is robotics: creating robotic systems from concept and design through building and integrating into a full system. I love challenging requests (the bigger the challenge, the more fun it is) for a automated robotic system, that has never been done before, and figuring everything out, programming the robot and hopefully a vision system to fit the customers needs perfectly. It's fun to see systems come to life.Personal StrengthsSuccessful supervision, design, and installation experience in these industrial fields: Robot sorting & palletizing, Vision systems, Processing and Packaging, Mining, Oil & Gas, Water and Wastewater, Fish Hatchery and Rearing, Bulk Potato Packaging, Grain Malting, Food Processing, and Energy Recycling.Highly motivated, independent thinking engineer that is:• Excited to take on the challenge of a new project or system• Believe that a solution always exists…sometimes it just takes creativity• Happy to work long hours to ensure that the project is done right• Motivated by the idea that a customer satisfied by a quality system is more important than the money madeFirm grasp of the design and installation of these products and concepts: • PLC Programming (Address and Tag Based) • HMI Programming (Custom graphics, Animated User Friendly Displays) • Historical Trending and Database set-up for reporting and analysis• Motor Control and Safety Devices • Variable Frequency Drives• Discrete & Analog Process Control
