About Michael Warner

As a first-generation college graduate and aspiring CPA, my journey has been shaped by hard work, resilience, and a commitment to service. I began working at age 13 alongside my father in our family’s coffee shop, where I learned early lessons in discipline, communication, and teamwork. Those foundational experiences ignited my drive to lead and serve others. Today, I am a proud graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver with a B.S. in Accounting. During my time at MSU Denver, I served as Student Trustee on the Board of Trustees, representing over students and contributing to executive-level decision-making on committees such as Finance, Governance, and Academic Affairs. I also held leadership roles as President of the Xi Delta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc, Vice President of the Accounting Student Organization, and Chair of the Student Advisory Committee to the Auraria Campus Board of directors. My academic journey reflects not just a pursuit of knowledge, but a passion for building community, advancing equity, and preparing for a career of ethical, impactful work in the accounting profession. I am currently pursuing my Master of Professional Accountancy at MSU Denver with the goal of becoming a Certified Public Accountant. I’m always open to opportunities that align with my values, leadership, service, and continuous learning.
