About Michael Way

In my 13 years in the wireless industry, I have succeeded in several positions: first as an archaeologist, then as a site acquisition project manager, and now as a senior regulatory compliance manager. My diverse experience in the wireless industry has enabled me to bring innovative and solutions-based approaches to problems faced by wireless carriers and tower owners dealing with complex environmental and regulatory issues. I am driven by a passion for customer service and a desire to be the best at what I do. I have a history of delivering quality projects on time and under budget. As a project manager, I have consistently exceeded company expectations and provided steady and reliable project growth. I have built successful projects from the ground up, going from the painstaking process of development to overseeing the operations of these projects five years later. As a leader I strive to lead by example and find what inspires my employees. As I see it, if I do my job as a leader and mentor correctly, I may one day work for one of my employees. I also pride myself on being interested, engaged, and engaging, even when the subject matter is dry. I am genuinely interested in processes and how things work, and that curiosity drives my desire to learn more every day and provide my company and my clients with outstanding service and exceptional knowledge. I am an exceptionally quick learner and have many times figured out processes just by being tossed into the mix and told to figure it out with no training. My versatility, organization, and self-motivation allow me to thrive in both structured and unstructured environments. I have a knack for creating and implementing processes and procedures, and I enjoy the challenges they bring. I am a jack of all trades and enjoy trying new things. I have done everything from developing graphics and email blasts for companies and clients to leading teams on social media forays to hitting the dance floor early on at conference closing events to get the party started. I am happy to break the ice and heat the dance floor up so others can feel more comfortable joining in. I see opportunities to try new things as an opportunity to add to my toolkit, and one never knows when that tool or skill will come in handy. I firmly believe with a great attitude, sound judgement, confidence in one's abilities, and a cup of coffee, anything is possible.
