About Michael Weiner

Summary I have had an extraordinary career as a physician at academic medical centers. I have been a healthcare provider, caring for children with cancer and their families. I have been at the forefront of pediatric oncology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. In my role as the director of pediatric oncology I recruited, managed and mentored physicians. I was involved in every aspect of the division that employed more than 100 healthcare professionals. The division of pediatric hematology-oncology was ranked 13th in the country by US News and World Report. As a physician leader at I understand the mechanics and politics of healthcare and at this time I am looking forward to a new career in healthcare, a new challenge. I am a proficient executive director with extraordinary experience in healthcare and community service. I have excelled at every level and possess excellent skills coupled with a drive to build exceptionally talented teams.
