About Michael Weiss

My Story -> It started with an MBA, then I went through the process of opening up a restaurant, where we begrudgingly settled with 3 - this is when I was ushered in the direction of the start-up world. I assisted in the growth, from the ground floor, of multiple FoodTech startups, learning valuable lessons with each one. Taking with me everything I had learned, I then took an opportunity in the e-commerce, SaaS space, where I managed and grew pipelines, consisting of and targeting mid-market to enterprise level software companies. Presently, I am a Sales Consultant, predominately focused in FoodTech, where I, for the most part, help companies create and grow revenue streams - it has definitely been a journey. What I Learned -> A journey that has rewarded me with a gritty work ethic, a unique macro and micro-level perspective on how businesses scale successfully (and unsuccessfully), a considerable network of professionals from a collection of industries, both regionally and nationally, and over a decade of experience in both complex B2B sales & high-volume D2C sales. Additionally, over said time, I've capitalized on each experience by becoming proficient at building blueprints for revenue generation, sales process implementation, creating partner channels, maximizing advertising and marketing dollars and most importantly, leveraging each company's core competencies. All said and done, the most important take-away, has to be, how I evolved into a risk-taker, an innovator, even a trendsetter at times, while simultaneously accruing and sharpening my interpersonal skills, humility and emotional intelligence, all developing my capacity to work collaboratively in any type of environment, on any scope, within any industry. Oh, and don't go into business with your brother, that's a big one too.
