About Michael Welliver

I have worked from fast food, to catering, to factory/printing press before finding my career in the medical field as an Advanced Unlicensed Assistant/Nurse Technician. My first 6 years was spent in Oncology at Mercy and OU Medical where I cared for 100's of strong patients and their families and the next 6 years at Oklahoma Heart Hospital learning within entirely new atmosphere of care. I've also been in the US Air Force Reserves for almost 20 years. All of my time has been with the same unit, the 72nd Aerial Port Squadron "Freedom's Choice!". I'm currently a Master Sergeant in the Readiness & Resources section integrating new airmen into the best reserve unit in the US. Because of the needs of my family and my schedule, I changed to the Administrative side of Healthcare as a Release of Information Specialist for OU Medical Records under the 3rd party, MRO Corp. I hybrid remotely while I'm currently learning new skills in Data Mining and Analytics at DeVry University. I've always had an interest in coding and working with computers, so I'm having a great time learning the basics. My hope is to one day find a fully remote position where I can grow my new skillset.
