I practise nationally in taxation and revenue law, advising and appearing for taxpayers and revenue authorities in State and federal courts and tribunals. I was called to the Bar in New South Wales in 2016. I am a member of the New South Wales Bar and an interstate member of the Victorian, Queensland, Australian Capital Territory, South Australian and Tasmanian Bars. I have chambers in Sydney (Ground Floor Wentworth Chambers), Melbourne (Dawson Chambers), Brisbane (Hemmant's List Centre) and Canberra (Blackburn Chambers). I am a member of Tax List, Young's List (Melbourne) and Hemmant's List (Brisbane). I am Chair of The Tax Institute National Dispute Resolution Technical Committee and a member of the ATO Dispute Resolution Working Group. I am also a member of the Australian Bar Association Taxation Committee, Tax Bar Association Taxation Committee and Law Council of Australia Business Law Section Taxation Committee. I have postgraduate qualifications in law (LLM, University of Sydney), tax (MTax, University of Sydney) and international tax (MIntTax, University of Melbourne). I am also a casual academic at the University of New South Wales and the lecturer-in-charge of Advanced Tax Law, and a reporter for the Commonwealth Law Reports, New South Wales Law Reports and Australian Tax Reports. Before coming to the Bar, I practised as a solicitor for 6.5 years at Allens Arthur Robinson, Freehills (including secondments to Macquarie Bank and National Australia Bank) and Corrs Chambers Westgarth, after starting my career as Tipstaff and then Researcher to the President of the New South Wales Court of the Appeal, the Hon J L B Allsop AC.
