About Michael Wiggins

Michael Wiggins is a founding member of McDonald Toole Wiggins, P.A. His current practice is devoted entirely to litigation and trial of large damages and catastrophic injury cases for the medical device, consumer products, industrial equipment, automotive and entertainment industries. He has defended and tried cases in over 20 states and federal jurisdictions around the country. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1989. Mr. Wiggins is a member of the bars of Florida and Alabama, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth and Eleventh Circuits. Mr. Wiggins is a frequent presenter and speaker at conferences and legal seminars. He is frequently retained as lead counsel in mass tort, class action and pattern litigation around the country, and he has extensive experience managing local counsel in the role as regional or national counsel. He was one of the youngest attorneys ever to be selected to be on the faculty of the IADC Trial Academy held annually at Stanford University. He grew up and attended high school in Pennsylvania, and in 2007, he was elected to the Allen-Rogowicz chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. In 2017, he was nominated and elected to membership at Royal Troon Golf Club in Troon, Ayrshire, Scotland. He is married to Melissa, and has four beautiful children: Olivia, Cannon, Arran James and Gray, and the family resides in Orlando.
