I'm an experienced accountant with a CPA, CGA designation. My skill set includes financial and regulatory reporting, particularly as it relates to financial services and trust & loan companies. My knowledge of finance and economics enables me to understand how macro-economic events and trends can precipitate opportunities and challenges at a corporate level. More specifically, my current position involves preparing timely and accurate reporting for internal management, external stakeholders and Boards of Directors. I also prepare financial regulatory filings to ensure compliance with various financial regulators across Canada, including the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions and Autorite des Marches Financiers. When not working I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing and playing basketball.
