About Michael Wurster

At Code3 I continued to strengthen my skills as a data analyst through weekly reporting decks delivered directly to clients as well as leading internal and external data analytics requests. While working as a performance analyst I was able to lead training and rollout of Datorama as a new data tool to improve our actionable insights. While positioned as a Sales Manager and Assistant Sales Manager I utilized various points of data to best utilize sales techniques and establish well-priced products. This allowed me to be a multiple Dave Monroe and Natalie Hall recipient in relation to hitting targeted booking goals. In addition, I was able to continue to manage a VMI program while receiving a 100% yearly review score. This was achieved through active tracking of high and low usage parts and managing levels of stock to ensure savings and maintain production lines. Having a strong analytical background stemming from my education at Hope College I am excited to continue to grow and sharpen these skills. While achieving my degree I was able to take high level science courses in Chemistry, Physics, Geology, and Biology. Each of these subjects relied on being able to take data gathered and analyze this into an understandable and usable fashion. The strong analytical background allowed me to partner with the Education Department and utilized data gathered to prove a program's effectiveness to increase government funding for the project and present at state and national conferences on the program. I am looking forward to being able to combine my educational background and professional background into pursuing my passion of data analytics. I look forward to connecting!
