About Michael Wymer

This summer I was a counselor and teaching assistant at the National History Academy helping engage a classroom of students with civics and American history. Recently, I've- Created the first archival collection for my college's radio station to donate to the campus archives - Refined my French skills both casually and professionally while volunteering and studying abroad in France- Worked with my local historical society to research their photo collection in preparation for a history of the city - Conducted an independent study for Professor Karl Qualls at Dickinson College processing the archival collection of Viktor Dalin, a Russian scholar of the French Revolution. Over the past three years I have worked as a student archivist in the Dickinson college archives, organizing, translating, transcribing, and interpreting acquisition. I also worked with the local community to record oral histories chronicling to the Bosnian-American Diaspora in Carlisle, Pa.
