About Michael Yorston

I’ve always been drawn to logic, structure, and problem-solving, which made Computer Science a natural fit. Since graduating, I’ve spent over 7 years building software, mostly in the SaaS space, with a strong focus on frontend development.I specialize in React and TypeScript, and I’ve also worked with Ruby, Angular, and Lightning Web Components to bring React functionality into Salesforce. I enjoy writing clean, maintainable code and collaborating with teams to build scalable solutions.Along the way, I’ve mentored co-op students, taken on leadership roles, and kept learning through hands-on experience and technical courses. I’m always looking to expand my toolkit and take on new challenges.Outside of work, I coach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, play chess, and dive into game development projects when I get the chance. I like working with curious, driven people who enjoy sharing what they know.
