About Michael Z.

Hello there, So I'm a bit of a digital jack of all trades, yet master of some and all passion about everything all at once. My skills range from programming, 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, animation, level design and my interests range from physics, math and organic sciences through to psychology, cooking, fitness, music, writing, film, history, cosmology and, well. the list goes on. Some of these things I have studied formally, and some are ongoing studies of mere passion so that I can better understand both myself, others and the world at large. Above all else, I love, love, love writing and design, which is the likely reason for my wide array of interests - each of which I take immense pride in exploring and understanding thoroughly - such that I can pull all of those things together into something cohesive, something provocative and something worth experiencing that ultimately results in value being produced in the form of the re-arrangement of atoms into what was once a mere thought. I get far too excited about ideas and can often discuss conceptual and intellectual material until long after everyone else has lost enthusiasm. I'm a salesman of science and learning as it is my firm belief that learning is the ultimate key to living a happy life - after all, what else are our brains for? My core leisure activity is video games as I very much enjoy the interactive loops between both my mind and a system that has been dressed up in varying contexts - I love to dissect the craft as I play and will be often found abstaining sleep to explore worlds - this is very much the reason why the field I have chosen to implement my interests is that of video games. I realized a long while ago that I would never stop playing video games - so in a bid to make them a more productive part of my life, I pursued them as a career. it's mostly how I justify to myself that I'm allowed to sit and play them. Well, nice to meet you and I shall cease my incessant rant here.
