About Michael Zarrilli

I’m someone who’s always been driven by a deep commitment to service, whether it was during my time in law enforcement, in the classroom, or now in the private security world. I spent over 20 years with the City of Mount Vernon Police Department, where I retired as a Police Lieutenant. I had the honor of serving as a first responder on 9/11, a day that forever shaped my sense of duty and perspective. After my law enforcement career, I transitioned into academia at Mercy University, where I worked closely with underserved students, continuing my mission of service in a different, but equally meaningful way. Today, I serve as the Director of Business Development at Dynamic Protection Group Inc.(DPG), where I help organizations across the country secure what matters most. At DPG, we deliver tailored private security solutions built to handle real-world threats and meet the unique operational demands of each client. With over two decades of combined security and law enforcement experience, I bring a consultative, client-first mindset to every engagement, ensuring our partners get protection that’s both strategic and practical. At my core, I’m passionate about helping communities stay safe, especially during times when trust, preparedness, and reliability matter more than ever. Outside of work, I’m a big believer in balance. I love spending time with my family, getting outdoors on long hikes, traveling whenever I can, and fueling it all with a not-so-secret addiction to good coffee.
