MY SERVICES Dr ZONGO is a humanitarian and MEAL expert with over 13 years of experience (with national, multi-lateral and international organisations). He has proudly contributed to optimising quality delivery by improving decentralised and conflict-analysed monitoring tools based on coverage determinants, given improving programme performance, as well as in community-involved interventions across 15 countries (in West and Central Africa). MY BACKGROUND My advanced knowledge of development and humanitarian programs, combined with 13+ years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), and a passion for helping the most vulnerable people, have led me to pursue a career in the humanitarian sector. My career began in the Programme Technical Support, Review, and Coordination department, working with national and then international organisations. My career aim is to deepen the understanding and implementation of effective, contextualised monitoring and evaluation strategies and methods, and learn to apply/ share them for the benefit of others, making me dedicated to improving the quality of life for people affected by humanitarian crises. I am fluent in three languages (English, French, and Spanish), have resided in over eight countries (Burkina Faso, Canada, Ghana, Mali, the DRC, Senegal, Nigeria, the USA, Djibouti, and Costa Rica), and have travelled for work purposes to over 20. Being continuously exposed to different cultures, I have developed an unparalleled ability to relate to people of various backgrounds and help them build their resilience. MY MAJOR CAREER AND ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS -Built capacities and trained numerous teams (in-house and partner organisations) over a 10-year career in M&E -Participated in over 15 successfully funded proposal drafting and implementation projects worth $50 million - Member of two national evaluation societies ( ReBuse, SenEval)- Mastered data processing, Participatory evaluation approaches, Programme and Project Management: Programme Monitoring related to Peacebuilding, Disaster Risk Reduction, Food Security and Livelihood, Nutrition and Health, WASH and Governance.
