1) Michaela Bennett is a passionate and versatile sports journalist who holds a Master's degree in Sports Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has a diverse skill set that includes on-camera reporting, social media management, content creation, translation, and strategic communication.(2) She currently works as a Digital Media Manager at the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA), where she develops and executes content strategies for all minor league digital and social channels. She also interviews minor league players and coaches, as well as international players in the World Baseball Classic, to tell their stories and let their voices be heard.(3) Prior to joining the MLBPA, Michaela was a Social and Digital Content Creator at Bally Sports Midwest, where she oversaw the copywriting and on-brand messaging of content for three regional sports networks. She also managed the social media platforms with over followers and the website content for the networks.(4) Additionally, Michaela was an On-Air Talent and Content Creator at KC Sports Network, where she hosted a weekly roundup show that covered all things Kansas City sports, including the Chiefs, Mizzou Football, Kansas State Football, and University of Kansas Football. She also covered the 2023 Shrine Bowl and the 2023 NFL Draft.(5) Michaela's core competencies are content strategy, storytelling, relationship building, and advocacy.
