About Michaela Collins

As a Testing Coordinator at Seminole County Public Schools, I manage and oversee the administration of standardized assessments for over 1,500 students. I collaborate with district and school leaders, teachers, and staff to ensure compliance, accuracy, and security of testing materials and data. I also provide training, support, and feedback to improve the quality and effectiveness of testing processes and practices. With a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Florida State University, I have a strong background in both education and finance. I have over 6 years of experience as a high school math teacher and a financial institutions underwriter, where I developed and honed my skills in Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, data analysis, communication, and problem-solving. My core competencies include educational assessment, data management, leadership, and collaboration. My mission is to enhance the educational outcomes and opportunities for all students by ensuring fair and valid testing practices.
