About Michaela Drake

As a Field Service Merchandiser at Ariat, I apply my passion for the equine industry and my skills in sales/retail to support the growth and success of the company. I received my B.A. in Marketing and my B.S. in Equine Science & Management from the University of Kentucky in 2022. There I developed a strong foundation in consumer behavior, market research, and business strategy, as well as a deep understanding of the equine field and its challenges/opportunities.In my current role, I am responsible for training, merchandising, and selling Ariat products to various retail accounts across multiple states. I have consistently exceeded KPI goals, increased customer satisfaction, and improved brand awareness and loyalty. I have also contributed to the planning and execution of events, promotions, and sponsorships, working with a diverse and collaborative team of professionals. I am a results-driven, hard-working, and compassionate leader who prides myself on delivering exceptional results and learning from every new experience. I am always eager to explore new ways to enhance my skills and knowledge to encourage other young equine-oriented business people.
