Thanks to technology, trends, algorithms and, of course, peoples attitudes and expectations, marketing is constantly evolving. That’s why I love it! It keeps me on my toes, pushes me to create new ideas and allows me to continue learning every day. I’ve always been creative but as a child, it seemed to mean that you had to be good at drawing. Well, that’s not exactly my strong suit.then I found media production. Finally my eagerness to create fit somewhere; content creation. Photography, copywriting, videography, UX/UI and design. I loved every part of it, from the research to the distribution. But it wasn’t long until I learnt that just putting something on the internet, no matter the quality, wasn’t enough to draw people in. Online marketplaces have grown exponentially over the last few years, which was amplified by the pandemic, forcing people inside ordering online. Companies have moved their offline sales online to meet the market, with a lot of companies not being ready for this move. Amazon, eBay and other online marketplaces have allowed companies to market their products online without the hassle of creating their own e-commerce website. Amazon continues to grow its platform to be the one-stop-shop for sellers, with enhanced brand content, demand-side platform advertising and continuously opening new warehouses around the world. I love being a part of an Amazon Agency and being able to help brands push their content to new heights on Amazon using its Premium A+ modules and using tools such as Helium 10, PacVue, and MerchantSprings to maximise listings SEO. E-commerce is the future (and now) for marketeers and it's where I want to be.
