About Michaela Herron

Michaela has acted on behalf of a range of life sciences, consumer products and technology clients in both Ireland and England throughout her career. Michaela advises clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, cosmetic, consumer goods, software, wearables, gaming, food and technology industries in relation to regulatory compliance throughout the life cycle of a product. Michaela frequently advises clients on the applicable regulatory framework, regulatory approval, labelling, packaging, traceability, safety and liability issues. She has also advised clients on matters of regulatory compliance in the context of due diligence. Michaela frequently advises companies who need to take market action such as product withdrawals or recalls and assists companies throughout investigations and enforcement action by the regulator. Michaela is also an experienced litigator and has significant experience in product liability claims (including group and multi-jurisdictional litigation), acting for clients across a number of industries, including consumer products and life sciences. Michaela has also represented clients in criminal prosecution proceedings under the General Product Safety Directive. Michaela won the 2022, 2023 and 2024 Client Choice award for Life Sciences in Ireland and is a recognised global expert in Who’s Who Legal for her Life Sciences regulatory, Life Sciences product liability and general defence product liability experience.
