About Michaela Klomann

Starting 1996, I worked in Hospitality Industry; starting with a classic 3 year apprenticeship followed by experience gaining in Restaurants- and Banquets Service, Front Desk and Room Reservations Management. I further enhanced my education while attending and successfully completing the hotel management school in Heidelberg, Germany from 2004 – 2006. After the school, I went abroad to the USA for 1.5 years to gain even more international experience. In 2011 it was time to make a change. I took the chance to become Assistant to the VP & GM Europe for Global Retail Services at Ecolab Europe GmbH. I also assisted as a side role the VP for Regulatory Affairs EMEA and after internal restructuring in 2012 within the company I mainly supported the VP of Distribution. In summer 2013 I moved for private reasons to the Netherlands and took a short term employment at RWTH Aachen University until Dec 2013 followed by an assignment as Retail Executive in the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Roermond from March to (incl.) October 2014. As of December 2014 I am supporting the Supply Chain Team of MSD Merck Sharpe & Dohme in Lucerne as Administrative Assistant. I am well trained, highly motivated, able to work with deadlines, to prioritize and I work well both in a team and solitary. I learn fast and am always motivated to take up new challenges and responsibilities. Due to my open minded attitude, my possibilities to think out of the box and my experience in upscale hotels and an international commercial company, I easily adapt to new situations and keep the overview.
