About Michaela Larsson

Hello and Welcome! I have a Bachelors degree in Sociology from SUNY New Paltz in New Paltz, NY. During my time at SUNY New Paltz, I worked in the Student Development office as a Transfer Liaison, was an e-board member of two clubs, a secretary of the Alumni Affairs committee through Student Association, and held a summer job through the Student Activities office. As a Transfer Liaison, I collaborated on ideas with my team to hold events and trips, we coordinated with other departments to execute these events, I got to supervise students and their guests during events, trips, and orientations. My experience working at SUNY New Paltz has solidified my passion for Higher Education. In the near future, I plan to attend a graduate school to pursue studies in Higher Education. I am an energetic, passionate and hard-working individual that inspires to work in the field of Higher Education. I enjoy working with hard-working and dedicated college students and staff who are passionate about getting involved on their college campus and ensuring that the experience at college is optimal. I enjoy working with college students and helping them discover their true potential and passion in life and help them have a positive experience and achieve their dreams.
