About Michaela Lunn

I have spent the last several years cultivating my skill and passion as a scientific researcher: During my time in lab I have crafted my skills in research and project design, technical methodology, and critical thinking/problem solving. Through my many opportunities as a chosen oral presenter, I have honed in on my outstanding ability (as well as passion) for public speaking, educating the public and scientific community alike, and sharing data in a collaborative manner. As a professor at Algonquin College, I have became well equipped at preparing and delivering lectures; organizing assignments, tests, and assessments; and motivating and mentoring students. 🧬 Lastly, through my diverse volunteer opportunities as well as my social hobbies, my passions have expanded and grown beyond bench research. My assets can shine in all realms of the field, including collaborative relations, bringing science to a general audience, and scientific creative thinking.
