About Michaela McLeod

As a certified Behavioral Health Technician at Soar Autism Center, I work directly with children with autism spectrum disorder to implement behavioral interventions and teaching strategies. I have a B.F.A in Film Production & Multimedia Journalism from Chapman University and a French minor from Université Paris-Sorbonne. I am passionate about helping children with unique needs thrive and receive the necessary support. I have experience in childcare, child therapy, and editing, which I apply to my role as a Home Health Aide at Aveanna Healthcare, where I provided comprehensive daily care and support to a child with disability. I also have experience in publishing, having worked as a Publishing Assistant at Angel City Press Inc, where I assisted in the day-to-day operations of a mid-sized book publishing company. I am always eager to learn new skills and expand my knowledge in the field of behavioral health and education.
