As a worker in childcare and the education system, I have learned the importance of kindness and patience when conversing with others. As a person living with a chronic illness, I have built a sense of resilience and responsibility. And as an employee in a customer service field, I have developed a sense of loyalty and an understanding of the importance of cooperation. I have a decade of experience working with children at various levels, whether it is one-on-one childcare or twenty plus students in a classroom setting, I excel at understanding and managing the individuals in my care. I have four years in retail settings where providing exceptional customer experience and my ability to communicate with others played significant roles in my success. With an Associate degree from Mott Community College, as seen in my resume, I show proficiency in basic subjects and an understanding of how to express my knowledge. I am punctual and conscious of time management. When coming into new work assignments I make sure to be 10 to 15 minutes early in order to allow myself time to acclimate and get a sense of the environment I will be working in. I am discrete and capable of answering concerns while keeping an individual’s comfort level at the forefront of my mind. With individuals who struggle to communicate I am patient and willing to go the extra mile to lessen any difficulties. I have had the opportunity to work with people from many diverse backgrounds lending me experience communicating individuals different from myself.
