About Michaela Schuster

Human to human interactions drive the productivity and growth of our world. We explore new ideas, share our identities, learn from and lean on each other. We agree, we argue, we advocate for change. We carry our whole selves. We are containers and contributors. We need to be mindful of language, the spaces we occupy, the audiences we reach and the audiences we don’t. We need to pay attention to cultural logics, understanding that our individual experiences drive our decisions, our emotions, our connection to each other and ourselves. Through language, we have the power to amplify voices and to silence others. My career is driven by connecting our world at the frays, building intersections through the basis of understanding and listening to create communication that is accessible for all of us. Through my role in Enrollment Management at Saint Joseph's University, I help students across Pennsylvania build their bridge to higher education by visiting high schools across PA for essay writing workshops, mock interviews, and individual meetings with students.
