About Michaela Scully

I am currently a senior at Manhattan University, majoring in Communication with a concentration in Advertising and a minor in Music. In my free time, I serve as a Head Stylist for LOTUS Magazine as well as a Student Worker at the Dean's Office of the Kakos School of Arts and Sciences. I am on track to graduate in May 2025, planning to expand my horizons in the field of fashion advertising and continue my education in sound frequencies as a form of healing. My experience allows me to bring a well-rounded perspective to not only the field of advertising and fashion but administrative settings as well. The opportunities I have taken advantage of at Manhattan University have shown me that it is essential to have a creative lens for my day-to-day pursuits, no matter what the task. I have directed and coordinated photoshoots and lines for a fashion show setting, have had a paper published in the LOGOS Academic Journal Titled "Can Cancer Cells Be Killed Using Sound Frequency Therapy?" as well as curated and spearheaded events for the Department of Campus Ministry and Social Action and managed professional Instagram and e-mail accounts. Overall, I bring a wide perspective to every pursuit, knowing that to succeed in any setting, one needs to be willing to think outside the box and understand the importance of community.
