About Michaela Slezak
My goal is to merge clinical social work to my creative skills developed through years of social outreach through theatre and provide creative-focused and trauma-informed counseling to those in trauma recovery. My experiences have taken me to incredible places (Edinburgh Fringe Festival, LA, NYC) and given me fantastic opportunities to develop skills in original theatre and performance art production, physical movement and improvisation, creative collaboration and problem solving, and therapeutic physical expression. Now, I want to focus on gaining direct clinical experience to become a licensed clinician that provides holistic trauma-focused care.
