About Michaela Spence

I'm part of the Value & Evidence team at EVERSANA, where I support Canadian and global HEOR initiatives across pharmaceuticals and medical devices. My work spans a diverse range of projects, including systematic and targeted literature reviews, Canadian HTA submissions, economic modeling support, and Delphi studies. I’ve contributed to the development of impactful value communication tools including global value dossiers, interactive slide decks, value briefs, flashcards, U.S. payer tools, and conference materials across multiple therapeutic areas such as oncology, cardiovascular disease, cystic fibrosis, diabetes mellitus, vascular access, and rare diseases. With an Honours BSc in Life Sciences and an MSc in Translational Medicine from Queen’s University, I bring a strong foundation in scientific research and healthcare communication. My academic and clinical research experience in pediatric congenital heart disease, adult cardiorespiratory conditions, and hemophilia has fueled my passion for advancing treatment options in rare diseases. I’m driven by the opportunity to translate evidence into strategies that improve patient outcomes and support access to innovative therapies.
