About Michaela Vanheel

I guess you can say printing is in my blood. I grew up in it. My aunt and uncle ran their own print shop in KansasCity, MO and my parents have been supervisors all their lives in the industry. I have been working and doing all aspects of the job since I can remember. From my father showing me how to rip a folder apart and put it back together(a long time ago), convetional stripping and keylining, or plating/proofing, to the digital world we now put ink on paper in. I absolutley love what I do and my goals are to continue to resolve problems, grow w/the industry and laugh alot while doing it and ALWAYS WORK THE NIGHT SHIFT.(and maybe win the lottery some day so I will not have to work til I'm dead) Specialties: Overall print knowledge_Due to working in all depts from shipping and recieveing to Preflight with the exception of press, my specialities are troubleshooting pretty much anything even w/o training. And since working the night shift my entire career, finding answers w/o resources. I LOVE a challenge. Anything from re planning a job, curve changes on press, software workarounds or just plain old file issues.
