With over a decade of experience as a Special Education teacher, I have successfully implemented evidence-based strategies to support students with diverse learning needs in developing their reading and writing skills. My Master of Education in English/Language Arts Teacher Education, with a specialization in Special Education, and Bachelor of Arts in English provide a strong foundation for my pedagogical approach. Throughout my career, I have actively contributed to various district initiatives, including curriculum development, assessment design, home instruction programs, and technology integration. My commitment to professional growth has led me to pursue advanced graduate coursework in psychology, sociology, and education, culminating in a thesis on mindfulness in education and teacher well-being. My primary goal is to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential. By continuously refining my teaching practices and staying abreast of the latest educational research, I strive to provide the highest quality instruction and support to my students.
