About Michal Beffinger

Being a graduate from a technical university, I always keep an open eye on the state-of-the-art technologies and look for new applications and possibilities. I have obtained PhD in cancer biology with immunology focus from the University of Zurich, then became a fellow of the Entrepreneur UZH program in biotech. This led me to co-found InCephalo AG, a company built to bring novel therapies to patients suffering from the all too often uncurable brain cancer. I have been leading our primary project through the preclinical studies, toxicology, CMC and towards the clinics with the promise of changing the patients story. Through my journey I have authored patents, scientific publications, grant applications, supervised students and led a preclinical team. I have pitched, managed projects, led meetings with regulators, worked with consultants, supervised CROs & CDMOs and got into all the wonderful things biotech brings!
