Background

About Michal Nydrle

Michal was born into a family of entrepreneurs who followed the principles established by Tomáš Baťa. This inspired him to start his first business just before he turned twenty. His companies Nydrle and RedMedia, which are the core of the future Kindred Group, soon established themselves as digital and advertising leaders and disruptors of the CEE market. Meanwhile, Michal became a business visionary with a great ability to predict market needs and opportunities. In 2019, he and his partners navigated the Kindred Group through a successful exit. Along his whole journey, Michal has been enthusiastic about building a community through active participation in several societies - from YPO, through DigiAKA and others. He has also been active in investing both on stock markets, venture capital as well as in property to help him balance his media activities. His mission for a more permanent impact and social responsibility also led him towards participation in the Petr Pavel presidential campaign and several other local activities that aim to preserve the local heritage and the wealth of the Czech nation while taking a forward-looking approach. Michal loves to sail with his family and has attempted to sail around the world with them.
