Background
About Micheca Thomas
As a Human Resources Advisor at Global Affairs Canada, I actively participate in the delivery and planning of the organizational design and classification program, focusing on the EX classification. I have more than 5 years of experience in this role, providing expert advice, guidance, and education on a variety of HR topics and issues to senior management and other stakeholders. I have a strong background in education, law, and communication, which enables me to design and deliver effective learning solutions, conduct research and analysis, and communicate clearly and persuasively. I am also a multitasker, a decision-maker, and an action-oriented leader, who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Career wise I would love to teach, work in the development of law curricula, and practice law in the future. In the present, my solid experience in HR is leading me towards a career in labor law. In addition, I own and operate a successful wedding planning business, where I apply my creativity, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
