About Michel Beyaert

I am currently responsible for logistics, customer service, safety, and facility management at Limagrain Belgium, the Belgian division of the French seed company Limagrain Group. With a background in operations and IT, my main focus is on project management across various domains. My approach is people-driven, aiming to support the shift from ad hoc decisions to a strategy supported by solid processes. At Limagrain Belgium, I have contributed to key strategic transitions- Led the outsourcing of warehousing and transport to a 3PL partner- Supported the board with the sale of the former plant and took part in the search and negotiations for a new site- Acted as project manager for the design and construction of a build-to-suit facility, completed within group budget- Worked closely with the production manager to organize investments in new equipment and the relocation of existing machinery, improving operational flow. Although I am not an engineer, I bring strengths that have proven valuable across departments- Strong stakeholder engagement: I translate expectations, concerns, and goals into actionable project elements- Curious and quick to grasp new domains- Deep understanding of operational reality — not just theoretical models- Focused on the human factor in complex projects, making the process understandable for all stakeholders—financial, technical, operational- Solution-oriented: long-term when possible, short-term when needed- Skilled project coordination with clear oversight of timelines, budget, and partner alignment- Ability to bring the right experts to the table, while assessing both skills and team fit- Quality-driven: I believe the true success of a project lies not only in delivery, but in aftercare, long-term value, and sustainable collaboration- Safety-focused: integrating safety from the design phase reduces future overhead and strengthens the safety culture and overall wellbeing.
